We support Ukrainians, build community, and organise 200+ events each year.
Who we are
AUGB Glasgow was founded in 2015 and is a proud branch of the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain, founded in 1946.
What we do
English Classes
English activities for different levels.
Social activities
Friendly and informal activities where people can feel part of the community.
Skill-building activities
Practical programmes designed to help participants develop new creative, professional and personal skills.
Children’s activities
Creative, educational and cultural activities designed for younger children.
Teen’s activities
Programmes for teenagers and young people focused on confidence, creativity, communication, personal development and practical skills.
Arts
Creative activities that bring people together through music, film, visual arts, theatre, crafts and cultural expression.
Community Events
Larger events that bring together the Ukrainian community, friends of Ukraine and the wider Scottish community.
Lectures
Educational talks and discussions exploring Ukrainian history, literature, cinema, music, culture and other topics relevant to the community.
Support Groups
Welcoming spaces where people can connect, share experiences and find social and emotional support within the community.
